BPC-157
A lab-made peptide copied from a protein in stomach fluid, studied for its role in tissue repair, new blood vessels, and collagen.
Learn about BPC-157A three-amino-acid piece of a natural hormone, studied for calming immune signals in the gut lining and the skin.
KPV is the tail end of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone, a natural signaling hormone. Its name comes from its three amino acids: lysine, proline, and valine.
KPV is the last three amino acids of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. That parent hormone is the same one melanotan 2 copies, but the two go in opposite directions.
Melanotan 2 keeps the pigment and appetite effects. KPV keeps almost none of them, and researchers have focused instead on the calming effect the fragment has on immune signaling.
Most of the work has been in gut inflammation and skin, in cell cultures and mouse models. Human trials are the missing piece.
Inflammation is switched on inside cells by a control protein called NF-kB. When it activates, the cell starts producing inflammatory signals.
In laboratory studies, KPV gets into cells and interferes with that switch, so the inflammatory response is turned down rather than shut off.
The gut research focuses on the intestinal lining, a single layer of cells that keeps contents inside the gut where they belong. Inflammation loosens that barrier.
Because the parent hormone also affects skin, the same calming idea has been tested there. The mechanism is plausible and the human evidence is not yet in.

Learn about BPC-157A three-amino-acid peptide that carries a copper atom, best known in skin and wound-healing research for its link to collagen.
Learn about GHK-CuA lab-made piece of thymosin beta-4, a natural protein that helps cells move toward damaged tissue and rebuild it.
Learn about TB-500The three GLOW peptides plus KPV, which adds a gut-lining and immune-calming piece to the mix.
Learn about KLOWKPV is not FDA-approved. That means the FDA has not reviewed it for safety or effectiveness for the uses described here. Its gut and skin research is largely in cells and animals, not in people.
Peptides in our shop are sourced from US-licensed manufacturers.
KPV is not FDA-approved, and the research behind it is in cells and animals rather than people.
Ongoing digestive symptoms deserve a real diagnosis first. Conditions like inflammatory bowel disease need proper treatment, not a substitute for it.
KPV is only a fragment of alpha-MSH. It does not carry the pigment or appetite effects that melanotan 2 does.
